"My new favorite place on the Oregon coast is Seaside. I recently stayed for a week at Cairn House in the charming south side of town. The golf course on Avenue U made for a delightful afternoon, but I spent most my time fishing on the Necanicum River with my six-year-old son and surfing THE COVE. I'd always thought that Indian was the best surfing Oregon had to offer, but THE COVE (on the other side of Tillamook Head) was less crowded, with cleaner sets, and a consistent right break! This is a spot I'll be returning to year round."

"A last minute weekend storm watching excursion to Seaside was the perfect prescription for the rut we were in. It was so easy. So glad the place was available. Please keep us in the loop when you have a cancellation or if Cairn House needs a last minute guest. Staying late at the office and leaving after the rush got us to the coast in less than an hour and a half. Next time we will come with friends and check out the big house. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, great tavern and breakfast joint down the street - can't wait to use the Webber. Plans are being made for next summer."
